My sister-in-law bought the car 2 years ago used from a regular name place.. it is a Dodge Neon, and she complains that she are multiple problems on it over the 2-yr span... the alternator, the starter, the tire busted, the wheel alignment was shot, the front window will not go up manual, and i think the brakes... this car sucks and i think it is a lemon, what can she do about this? any legal action? where & how, if so?

If all the problems continue to be different, that isnt a legal action to take. For your next car, may I suggest, go to the library and get the "Consumer Report" magazine that rates all cars and their repair records over the past 3 years. Youll find that the NEON rated very poorly but japanese cars rank much higher. Its a great research tool

Unfortunately it is 2 Years ago, not much you can do, I bought a used car from a dealer and only a couple months later did it have a problem and i went back and he was a nice dealer and gave me $500 which payed have of the bill. But in a case that it is 2 years ago, Not much, and How is the maintenance is it done every 5000 kms? and i would say either sell it, or just keep repairing and keep it properly maintained.

the parts you have listen could go in any car and to honest the alternator and the stater or probably due to mechanical failure. the tire bursting can happen to any one and there is multiple reasons for this from hitting a stone to just wear and tear. just give the car a check, check all panels for alignment and also check places like wheel arches and door pillar and about the lights and see is there any two tone paint if so it was resprayed. not sure what the action would be if the car is owned for two years to be honest don't think you would have much power to do anything.

The Neon was not a new car 2 years ago, but that was the time to complain. Driving it fot 2 years is like finishing your meal in a restaurant and then complaining. She should have had it checked before she bought it and she should expect maintenance over a 2 year period.
