1. First car I owned was a Ford mercury sedan left by a ww2 pilot at our farm.we used it on old farm road and in fields learning to drive

Hi yes i did learn to drive on a farm like you in an old javelin jowet.

later a singer gazelle electric automatic.

as for good cars made here it has all really sadly gone like the triumphs and jaguars of the mk2 and the old rovers like the P4.5 and P6. all we have now is just rubbish.

as soon as Ford get involved with any make it all turns sour. land rover, jaguar and even aston martin.

hence when i want a 4x4 it has to be a japanese toyota landcruiser.
