Luckily many Japanese engines are strong and you have two options really one is to find a tuner car which as i am sure you know is a car sold in detuned state from the makers, this with allow you to release the engines true power and beyond with not a great deal of money and work compared to many other cars, also as these cars where sold in a detuned state other parts which come with the car stock and more often able to take the cars true running power so again you are saving money as those parts will not need replacing straight away and until you reach there limits.

Option two is to find a modified car this again i am sure as you know is a car which takes well to mods ,extra bits will need replacing away from the engine to cope with its extra power but again look for a bargain and use good parts.Check what power these cars are goo for and how long they can last running like that.

I would suggest a Supra. Supras are fast as hell, and can be easily boosted to go faster. These are very good cars, just because Toyota did such a good job engineering them. For example, a Supra's engine (depending on the generation) can with stand up to 1000hp. Now that doesn't, mean it comes stock with 1000hp, that just means that the engine is able to handle that much if you ever decide you want to give it some more boost. Todays muscle cars can't even handle that stock, you have to do some modifications to beef up the engine or else you could destroy it. Also, alot of Supras come stock with turbos. You can easily find some for 8 grand, however insurance could be a little high.

First I am guessing you talk about Cars, not Bikes right? to make this worst Hayabusa max top speed is 312 km/h tested by Cycle World, anyway for Cars stuff I would go for Honda S200, or Nissan 350z, you know what? the problem is prices, here I can get those cars for around $8k, but what about you?

You can use a car performance simulator to virtually test the cars you can actually get where you live, there you can run tests like 0-60, 1/4, top speed and stuff like that, you can find it at http://www.nxgtrsim.com

you can buy a second hand hyabusa for about 7ish and they hit 340km +
