My Dash Lights are not Working!?

I have a 1993 Toyota Hilux 2x4 Ute.

I was driving and got into a minor accident where I blew my tail light off my tray. Ever since then the dash lights wouldn't light up. All the dash guages work fine but the dash illumination. The oil warning, high bean, indicator signals all work but the dash illumination. So at night I have to use a torch. I have replaced my tail light and the indicator works and everything but the dash illumination.

I have pulled my dash apart and the bulbs are fine. Then I checked the dash circuit to the bulbs and that is fine as well. I checked the wiring harness to the dash and it puts out minimal electricity. Something like 0.02 of a volt is going to the dash illumination lights. I used a 1.5 volt battery and it bearly lights up 1 of these bulbs.

What is going on? What can I do? Where does the dash illumination wires come from and what controls them? Ahhh Please Help!

Check the fuse...there should be a opening by your steering wheel or under your hood...you can easily google where your fuse box is though... Had this happen to me before in a toyota camry...took it to autozone they pulled out the fuse it was fully blown and replaced it for me just had to pay like 6 bucks for it
