Have you passed your test,,why dont you buy a secondhand scooter till you learn more about it,, getting a drivers licence doesnt mean that after you get it that qualifies you to drive anything,, you would be better to buy a secondhand one first so if you do screw up its not so hard on yer pocket, and you need something where both feet can stand on the road so that you can cope if it slips over,, pointless getting something that is to large for you.. I think what the law should be now is learners shouldnt be allowed on even a vespa etc till they can cope on the road its a great pity the Honda C50 didnt still get sold youngsters started with them and then progress to a Honda C90, and after that go to a Vespa 125 and better you were on that move onto a Lambretta 150,,Being an old time biker and also a MOD ,,these 3 wheeled MP3 are a death trap Im told. whatever ye get be careful there is always some idiot who cant see ye

Vespa is good for tall person. I suggest you to test ride the bike you like and choose the best for you. Vespa is excellent in handling, build quality, engine etc. Its a revolutionary scooter. But it is expensive.

Yesterday I confirmed mileage of my Vespa. It gave me 58 kmpl about in 1 litre very easily. It will easily reach 60 kmpl now.

Suzuki Swish engine is similar to Vespa engine and has good features like the side stand indicator. But Suzuki and Honda scooters lack front storage space, which is very useful. So its a big disappointment from both these brands.

Third option is Mahindra Rodeo. The fuel inlet on this scooter is at the front below the handle, which is very convenient. No other scooter has this feature, all have fuel inlet under the seat.

Fourth option is a simple and low cost scooter. Hero Pleasure.

I suggest you test ride all four, may be the other 2 you like and choose the best by comfort. Comfort should be your first priority. Also buy only from showroom, as the price of showroom and local retailer is same. You get original accessories from showroom and not from the retailer at the same price.
