I was wondering if you could help me i have been offered a job as a trade plate driver i really need some quick money as i want to get my licence to drive a lorry and need money to pay for this. I have heard some stories about this job but i am used to working out doors and driving all around the country for hardly any money as i was a door to door salesman and worked long hours every day in the cold sometimes for no money at all. i have been looking for lots of work but this is the only job that is interested in me. this would only be a short term job until i get my lorry licence. i would like to hear from somebody who works as a trade plate driver now not one that has finished the job.
I would really appreciate anybodys opinion and any information or adivce they could give me about the job.
Thanks

Your question already holds the answer. When you stated -

"i am used to working out doors and driving all around the country for hardly any money as i was a door to door salesman and worked long hours every day in the cold sometimes for no money at all"

That is what trade plate driving is all about, with a poor wage of around £6.50 pr hour for a set number of hours (usually too few) regardless of how long you may be out on the road. It can be a dreadful job in the winter, trying to get lifts from drivers that are weary of strangers thumbing on the side of the road nowadays. (Most trade plate vehicle deliveries are one way transfers!). In my opinion, you would be far better off looking for a van driving job in the meantime, which will also give you experience of customer relations, route planning, paperwork etc.

You see penny stocks are high velocity, fast move, fast paced investments that you don’t typically hang onto for a long period of time. Understand how simple it is to make money with penny stocks https://tr.im/47mEO

There are exceptions of course. Sometimes you will find some long-term trades that pay off big! Other times you will get into what are known as swing trades and those can really pay off as well. Most of the time though, profitable penny stock trading is all about the short game.

In most cases you will buy and sell the same stock within a week. I’m not talking about day-trading which you may have heard about before. That’s a completely different game with a different set of rules. (It’s also a bit more risky.)

Depends on the employer - some are good but others will leave you miles from home with no way to get there.

Lorry licence - for a rigid Cat C that is going to cost you £1300 ishh with another £800 ish to add artic cat c=E to it (not including lost earnings for the 3 to 4 weeks it will take)and right now there is too little work in most areas for the experienced drivers who will always be picked before a rookie

Game betting may be enjoyment to accomplish but with this method https://tr.im/GkVs1 , Zcodes System you will even have a great improvement to make some additional money.

The best thing about the Zcodes System is that even if you never seen a football or a golf sport in your lifetime, you are able to follow the system's earning choices and make money from games you are perhaps not compelled to watch, obviously watching the actual activities you're betting on can be quite a enjoyment task but recall that the tennis game can last as much as 4-5 hours sometimes, very same of seeing “The Lord of the Rings”…

Applying Z Code Program is like having your own personal particular staff of activities handicappers working relentlessly for you each and every day!

Sport betting may be fun to do but with this method https://tr.im/tpYxM , Zcodes System you may also have a wonderful addition to make some additional money.

The best thing about the Zcodes System is that even if you never viewed a baseball or a golf game in your entire life, you are able to follow the system's winning picks and earn money from games you are maybe not obliged to watch, obviously watching the actual games you're betting on can be a enjoyment activity but recall that the golf sport may last around 4-5 hours in some cases, very same of seeing “The Lord of the Rings”…

Using Z Code Process is similar to having your personal specific team of sports handicappers functioning often for you every single day!

Let's just skip over the trade plate work for a second:

Are you aware that there are thousands of experienced, unemployed lorry drivers looking for work? It's close to impossible for newly qualified L.G.V. drivers to get a job anywhere.

i was looking at trade plate driving and came across this thread.

BCA advertising jobs paying £20 then 20pence per mile.

when first considering such a job,my thought was that perhaps you would need a recovery vehicle or trailer so you could pick up the vehicle, drop it off then get back home.seems you would be paying out of your own pocket to do a job for them.

Are BCA a registered charity and wanting you to work for them at your own expense?

it would only seem to make sense if you lived next door to bca, rolled out of bed, picked up a car, dropped it off a mile or 2 away then walked back home.but if you have to travel to bca and had to drop off a vehicle 100 miles away in the middle of nowhere then you are fked!

how do you get back? bus/taxi/train would cost more than you are paid or do you hitchhike relying on someones kindess to give you a lift or do you walk for 30hrs?

this has got to be a pis* take right?

Pretty crap job, especially at this time of year when it can get a bit chilly as you wait in vain for a free lift from a stranger....

All will go well, until your first crash, then, can you afford a new car?
