its a light, agile car with endless options for upgrading. is it the best car out there? no, but a damn good one. if you really do your homework and are willing to spend the time and money, the RSX-S wont dissapoint you. theres so much stuff made for it you wouldnt have trouble finding anything. as mentioned, its a bulletproof engine but understand what comes with added power. the car needs to be able to support that kind of power. play your cards right and youll have yourself a nice lil' sleeper. good luck

Those cars are almost the same so go with what appeals to you more. The biggest advantage of the Si is that it has a limited slip differential. Which means you can add mods all the way upto a supercharger with low boost and not suffer from excessive wheel spin and take off from corners easily. Other than that it's 6th gear is tuned for better fuel efficiency on the highway. The type S has a lot of aftermarket support, especially the 02-04 models. It also looks better, has automatic climate control and a hatch where you can fit a lot more. Limited Slip Differentials usually go for 500-1200 bucks so make sure you do a lot of research.

its a very good platform and has been well proven to be reliable even with modifications . It is fairly light and has a bullet proof motor in it. Mods aren't too bad price wise , I'm not a huge FWD fan ,but a well modded RSX-S , will suprise quite a few so called "fast" cars .

My responses are for entertainment purposes only , and I do not and have never "street raced" and do not support it

not really. if you stay in its class (hondas, tegs, preludes, celicas, mits) sure but if you want to go after boosted cars, no way. sure you can boost the rsx but the i-vtec will limit you and you have to repalce a lot of things so it can handle the boost( manifold, fuel system, etc).

nope, underpowered, costs tons of money to make fast. then when you dump those tens of thousands of dollars into making it fast, it just junks out the car (AKA you're gonna blow your engine up with all that turbo power, etc.) it'll have no resale value and you'll end up losing more money than its worth. if you want a fast car, you have to buy a fast car.
