Im going to buy a 1995 Polaris Scrambler 4x4 2 stroke, the motor was rebuilt in 2010 by a Polaris Dealership and he has receipt's. It has new front tires and rims, electric start, everything works good and i think its a good deal, but people said to not buy it because it was rebuilt so it was beat on but doesn't that mean its good now? He said there is only 30 hours on the new engine

2 stroke engines get tired or seize up and need a new top end after a few seasons of regular use. 4 strokers will last MUCH longer before needing work.

Nothing wrong with a rebuilt if it runs real good.

Go for it, as the two stroke engines are much simpler to work on, and less parts to go bad, plus with a oil injector working properly or correct oil.gas mixture will last a long time.

They ALL get beat on, so one with a rebuild, and a factory approved one at that? SCORE !!
