When I moved recently, there were a few places that I went.

Try:

U-Haul- they sell them... they are a little expensive

Big Lots (pic'n'save)- cheaper...

Goodwill

Home Depot- if you ask an assistant manager, they will tell you that they "recycle them", but if you ask the store manager, telling him/her that you are a good customer and will continue to give them business if he/she will help you out, I bet you'll get all you need within 2 days.

Don't give up! Free boxes are everywhere! Wal-Mart, Target, Lowe's, Home Depot, Circuit City, Vons, etc!!!!!!

My best guess to get moving boxes would be to go to a grocery store like sams or kroger or even maybe go to a department store and ask for those boxes that people get during christmas anything will help when it comes to moving

Any of the truck rental moving companies( like U-haul, Budget or Hetz/Penske) or Self Storage companies sell brand new moving boxes.

Any restaurant can give you a ton for free. Call ahead of time and ask when their food delivery comes so you don't have to dig soggy old ones out of the dumpster.

Liqour Stores usually have tons of boxes, that and if you need bigger ones, try stores like a mail boxes ect. You should be able to buy cardboard boxes of many different sizes.

Look around, grocery stores, Wal Mart. Just ask if they have any boxes. Usually places like this are happy to get rid of them.

ok, you call your local moving companys and ask for used boxes. most important if they think theres a possibility you will hire thier company when your ready to move they will tell you to come in and get all the boxws you need.

Grocery stores will give them to you. If you want the kind with lids go to a copy shop and get some. These are the most durable and stack nicely (don't cave in).

Go by your local bookstore. I'm always able to get a ton of boxes free there when I need them.

hit the grocery stores on days they get stuff in. It might be easier with a local convenience store where you are recognized. They're usally pretty willing to 'get rid of the trash' -what it is to them.
