I was offered a job at Amscan and they said it's for a forklift operator but it's not a regular forklift it's a cherry picker..... now to me a cherry picker is what they use to work on electrical lines... anyone know what they mean by "cherry picker"?? a paper i got says ill have to wear a safety harness so that makes me think it up high but it also says ill have to pick items from the shelf and place it on a pallet..... any ideas?

i work at a huge warehouse that has numerous forklifts. one of them has a basket where the forklift operator can lift up the basket where another person is but it also has controls in the basket. this might be the forklift that you might use but there is also a cherry picker that a person can drive from the basket but it is actually really simple

Hi, usually a cherry picker is something that lifts a person up to a height to do certain work, like sign installation for example. This type of machinery is also called access platform machinery. There are lots of different types, check out www.cherrypicker.ie to get a better idea of the various machines. You can get MEWP Qualified (mobile elevated work platform), this training covers how to operate most types of cherry picker machines. Hope this helps you a little

***it seems almost disappointing that you spend your whole life doing whatever and then it all ends, as if it never happened.*** Would you rather it didn't? Can you even being to comprehend what it means to live forever? You would lose your mind. Enjoy the fact that, for a brief moment, you got to enjoy a special arrangement of molecules capable of recognizing itself. And don't worry about slipping into nothingness. You won't be able to worry about it because you won't be.
