Tennessee Street Legal Dune Buggies?

Question

Ok so on my way to work the other day I saw a dune buggy like vehicle at a gas station near my home. I know some states will allow you to make them street legal and don't know if it was from here or not.

My question is, in Tennessee can you make an off-road dune buggy street legal and what is required if it is legal?

Please don't tell me to call the HP or DMV or to google it, the point of Y!Answers is to get input from people who know what you want to know.

yes u can....but will have to register it and get it inspected as a motorcycle and will have to have a motocycle license to drive it......





** there are other ways but cost 10 times as much and u have to "donate" 4 of same vehicle to pass federal testing for safety......
