Today I went for my permit after 2 weeks & 30 hours of driving school. I got A+'s on both of them and I knew most of my stuff, but I managed to fail today once with two questions to go and another with one question to go. Also, after getting a 100% on the MA practice permit test online I was pretty confident, but still nervous, too bad they were nothing the same. On both tests there were probably a total of 2 answers I learned from driving school, so I'm pretty angry. Some even had to do with motorcycles and things I'd never even heard about, not to mention it had about 5 questions on the same subject I didn't even know. Do you suggest I read the manual this time and try again? I'm really embarrassed and hurt and I'm not used to failure, so I need some guidance from someone who can help me or someone who has gone through what I have. Thanks.

Don't feel embarrassed because you didn't pass your first time. i know someone who failed his permit test 10 times before he finally passed. honestly if you didn't read the manual, i can tell you right now that that's probably why you failed. you need to read the manual, a lot of questions on any permit test, come from the manual, not what you learn in class. read through the manual, go in with some confidence and you should do fine. hope this helps, on questions you don't know the answer to, just use a little common sense, and think about the situation and if each answer makes sense in the situation.

You should have read the manual before even taking the class.
