I live in Arizona and I am original owner of 2008 Kia Spectra 4DR on it. It is 2.0L 4Cyl manual transmission. I have just reached 75K and I was wondering if there is any preventative maintenance that would be recommended. I change oil and filter every 3-5K, keep an eye on breaks, change intake and cabin filters, and keep all liquid levels in check, tire treads, rotation and alignments.

Is coolant or transmission flush recommended? I have no overheating issues or manual shifting issues.

Thanks

You seem to be doing all the right things . Don't fool with anything else. Today's Transmissions are sealed so as not to be messed with . Coolant and Tranny flushes are simply money making scare tactics . If you insist , then change the stale air in your tires as well. I put several kids thru college with customers like yourself .

Yes, you are getting close to wanting to change your timing belt. You should also have your drive belt inspected as well. Fresh coolant would be a good idea if you have not replaced that as well. The cooling system and heater hoses should be checked closely at the time of coolant replacement.

Yes you need to change the timing belt.If it breaks while the engines running, valves and pistons will collide and cause a lot of internal damage
