Get your speeding tickets here!: What is more fun to drive legally, a Honda Fit, or a CR-V?

Right now I drive a 1999 Toyota Corolla (automatic), and I just love reving the crap out of that little engine and hearing it buzz to the redline, yet I'm still way under the speed limit. Then I have lots of fun tossing it into the corners and feeling the tires slide as I go way too fast. Still, I'm not doing that much more than 40 to 50 mph. I only drive like this when I can see everything out far ahead of me, and there are no other cars around. If there is any danger to other people or other cars / property, then I drive slow and normal, so don't worry. I only drive nuts like this when there is no risk to others.

But right now I want to buy a new car. I was thinking of either a Corvette, a Honda Fit Sport, a Toyota RAV-4 sport, or a Honda CR-V. I want something that has a hatchback, something that can be tossed around the corners like a big toy for the pure fun of it, yet something that can still be fun at speeds under the speed limit.

Out of these 4 cars, which is the best car to buy, especially for Southern Ontario winter driving conditions? And something that won't get me into trouble with the police just because I'm 5 km/hr over the speed limit.

Gotta agree with the other answer: Honda Fit. It is very fun driving, has very sporty suspension, excellent brakes (too good IMO), and super-tight steering (I've gotten used to the steering, but it took a while). The Sport version has the "paddle" shifters on the automatic, but we went with the stick shift, which I think is a must-have for sporty driving. And, I think the four-door hatch configuration lends itself to being over-looked by most police. I've driven and rode in the RAV and the CRV before (never owned either, though), and neither are particularly "fun" drives, whether on or off road -- they are capable, small, soccer-mom SUVs.

Only other comment left off by the other answerer would be that the Corvette is not particularly well suited for winter driving, since it is rear-wheel drive.

Honda fit for sure. from what i hear from people who own honda fits, they say they're pretty fast for a car that small. if you get a rav-4 or a CR-v and you try to trash it into corners, its more likely to flip cause its an SUV and its got a higher center of gravity. its not as bad as bigger suv's, but still worse than a sedan. plus the fit is lighter and more agile so its gonna have better handling. corvette has best performance of the bunch but can you afford it? lol i don't even know how the corvette got grouped in with a honda fit, toyota rav-4 and a honda crv.

the honda fit's also gonna be good for winter because its fwd. it will do great in southern ontario...i would know, i live here too. slap on some good winter tires when it comes to winter time too. not only do winter tires prevent you from getting stuck, but they also help you brake faster, and steer better when its slippery.
