I took my 95 honda civic lx to Costcos tire shop a while back and the cashier behind the counter told me they don't do custom tires.

the tires on my car look something like this except not too thin on the sidewalls

are my tires actually considered to be custom tires if they were offered like this at the honda dealer as an upgraded package when the car was bought? im asking because i want costcos tires since they're cheap compared to dealers prices.

Costco sells what they sell and nothing else. If it isn't on their price list they can't or won't order it. It's not the tires that are custom it's the low profile size and that is something that Costco just doesn't get into.

You can get a better deal elsewhere. Last two times I priced tires I beat Costco prices at a Firestone store (buying Bridgestone tires).

Go to Tirerack.com if you want the best prices. But remember you need to add in shipping and installation to their low online prices.
